क्या आप वाकई धार्मिक होना चाहते हैं?

यदि हां, तो आपको अपने सारे भेद मिटा देने होंगे। जैसे प्रकृति बिना भेदभाव के सबको बराबरी पर अंगीकार किए हुए है, ठीक वैसे ही आपको भी धर्म, जाति, गुणी-निगुर्णी, अच्छे-बुरे के वे सारे भेद मिटा देने होंगे जो मनुष्य को मनुष्य से अलग करते हों। जब तक कोई अपने मन को इस ऊंचाई तक नहीं पहुंचा लेता, उसमें वास्तविक धर्म का अंश भी पैदा नहीं हो सकता है। यह ध्यान रख ही लेना कि भेद करनेवाला किसी भी धर्म का कितना ही बड़ा धर्मगुरु क्यों न हो, वह वास्तव में धार्मिक नहीं ही है। क्योंकि वास्तविक धर्म की पहली सीढ़ी ही सम्पूर्ण मनुष्यता को बिना भेदभाव के अपनाना है।

...अब यह धर्मगुरु धार्मिक नहीं होते तो मत होने दो। परंतु आप तो भगवान के सच्चे भक्त हैं, आप तो अपने मन से सारे भेदभाव मिटा ही दो।

Do you really wish to become religious?

If yes, then you will have to eliminate all your differences. Just the way Nature has embraced all of us without any discrimination, in the same way, you too will have to dispel differences of religion, caste, skilled-unskilled, good-bad and all other such factors that distinguish one human being from another. Unless one takes his heart to such a lofty level, even an iota of true religion will not manifest within him! Remember this, he who discriminates, no matter how big a religious leader he is and whichever religion he propagates, in reality, he is certainly not religious! Because the first step towards being truly religious is to embrace all mankind indiscriminately!

...Now, if these religious leaders don’t want to become religious, let them be. But you are true worshippers of God, so at least you do away with all discrimination from your heart!

भीतर सत्य पैदा करो फिर बाहर कुछ पाप-पुण्य नहीं...।

यह बात हमेशा के लिए गांठ बांध लेना कि भीतर पाप है तो ही बाहर पाप है। यदि मनुष्य भीतर के भावना की शुद्धता के लिए विश्वास से भरा है तो उसके लिए इस संसार में कुछ पाप नहीं। ...वह फिर कुछ भी कर सकता है। और कुछ भी कर सकने की क्षमता ही मनुष्य-जीवन की अंतिम ऊंचाई है और अंतिम मकसद भी।

सोचो, मीरा के भीतर कितनी शुद्धता रही होगी जो वह बेझिझक राज-परिवार छोड़ सड़कों पर नाचती फिरी। जिसके भीतर जरा भी पाप होगा वह राजमहल छोड़ने तक की नहीं सोच सकता, सड़कों पर नाचना तो बहुत दूर की बात है।

बुद्ध जिनको पूरा भारत सलाम करता था, जिनका आचरण एक उदाहरण था, ने कितनी आसानी से एक वेश्या के यहां रात गुजार ली थी। जब मन में पाप नहीं तो वेश्या क्या बिगाड़ लेगी? और जब मन में पाप नहीं तो जमाने की सोच की चिंता कौन करे?

सो मेहरबानीकर बाहर के पाप-पुण्यों की फेहरिस्त बनाने की बजाए भीतर इतनी शुद्धता पैदा कर लें कि बाहर कुछ पाप-पुण्य बचे ही नहीं। बाकी तो पाप-पुण्यों की सूचियां पकड़ाने वाले अपनी दुकानें चला रहे हैं, तथा उनके चक्कर में आने वाले अपना जीवन अकारण सहम-सहम कर गुजार ही रहे हैं।

सो उनको छोड़ो, परंतु आप तो समझदार भी है और आजाद भी; सो भीतर शुद्धता पैदा करने पर ध्यान दो। भीतर भावना शुद्ध है तो शरीर ने क्या किया, कौन परवाह करता है?

Awaken The Truth From Within Then There Will Be Neither Sin Nor Virtue Outside

Make it a point to always remember that there is sin around you only when there is sin within. If a human being has full faith in the purity of inner feelings, then for him, no sin exists in this world...then he can do anything! And the ability to do anything is the peak and the ultimate goal of a human being’s life!

Just think, how pure Meera must have been from within that without any hesitation she left her royal family and went about dancing on the streets! A person who has even the slightest of impurity within, would never even think of leaving the palace, let alone dancing away in the streets!

Buddha, who was hailed by the whole of India, whose conduct was exemplary, so casually spent a night in the house of a harlot! When he didn’t have any impurity in his heart, how would a harlot affect him in any way? And when your heart is pure, why bother about what the society will think or say?

So, please do me a favour; instead of listing the sins and virtues in the outside world, become so pure from within that no sins or virtues remain on the outside! As for the rest, the ones who hand out lists of sins and virtues are anyway running their shops and the ones who are falling prey to them are leading a meek existence for no reason!

Let’s forget about them, but you are intelligent and also free; so focus on manifesting purity in your heart. If the feeling is pure, who cares what the body is doing?
