Is A Life Without Hobbies A Life Worth Living Even...?
When does a tree look
beautiful? When it is laden with leaves, fruits and flowers. Similarly, a human
being’s life can get better only when he pursues harmless interests. No matter
how much someone tries to convince you to give up something, don’t fall for it.
Understand this, hobbies are to human beings what fruits, flowers and leaves
are to trees. How does a tree without fruits, flowers and leaves appear? Without
any hobbies, that’s how your life shall also become!
However, do learn the art of
nurturing a hobby. Firstly, you should pursue all your hobbies on your own
strength. Secondly, these hobbies should be pursued without harming anybody. And
thirdly, if due to certain circumstances these hobbies cannot be fulfilled,
then do not harbour any bitterness. Now go ahead and indulge in as many hobbies
as you wish to, who’s going to stop you? ...Just learn the art and rules of
nurturing and fulfilling them.

शौकरहित जीवन कोई जीवन है...?
कोई
भी पेड़ दिखने में कब अच्छा लगता है? जब वह पत्तों और फल-फूलों से हरा-भरा हो। वैसे
ही किसी-भी मनुष्य का जीवन तभी बेहतर हो सकता है जब वह कई निर्दोष शौकों का शौकीन हो।
कोई चाहे लाख समझाए कि यह छोड़ो...वह छोड़ो, पर चक्कर में पड़ना ही मत। सिर्फ इतना समझ
लेना कि शौक मनुष्य-जीवन के फल-फूल और पत्ते हैं। बिना फल-फूल व पत्तों का पेड़ कैसा
लगता है? बस, बिना शौक के आपका जीवन वैसा ही हो जाएगा।
हां,
शौक पालने के सलीके जरूर सीख लेना। पहला तो यह कि आपके तमाम शौक अपने बलबूते पर होने
चाहिए। दूसरा यह कि वे बिना किसी को हानि पहुंचाए पूरे होने चाहिए। और तीसरा यह कि
किसी परिस्थितिवश शौक पूरे न किए जा सकते हों तो उसका दुःख न पकड़ना चाहिए। फिर चाहे
जितने शौक पूरे करो, कौन रोकता है? ...बस शौक पालने तथा पूरे करने के नियम व सलीखे
सीख लो।

Good Friday पर क्राइस्ट की विशेष इच्छा

आप
मुझे सूली पर लटकाए जाने वाले दिन को गुड फ्राइडे के तौर पर मनाते हैं। अब आपका इसके
पीछे क्या लॉजिक है यह तो मैं नहीं जानता, परंतु मुझे अपने लॉजिक से यह ठीक जान पड़ता
है। क्योंकि मुझे सूली पर लटकाना ही वो टर्निंग पॉइंट था, ...जो आज मेरा संदेश पूरे
विश्व में फैल गया है।
सोचो
यह कि मेरी कष्टपूर्ण मृत्यु भी गुड फ्राइडे में कन्वर्ट हो गई। लेकिन आप लोगों का
क्या? आपको तो कोई सूली पर नहीं लटका रहा, फिर भी आपका जीवन इतने बैड फ्राइडे से क्यों
भरा हुआ है? क्योंकि आप कहने को तो मेरी राह पर चलने का नाटक कर रहे हैं, परंतु वास्तव
में आपलोग मेरे दिखाए मार्ग पर नहीं चल रहे हैं। और इसका सबूत यह कि मैं हंसते-हंसते
सूली पर लटक सकता हूँ और आप तमाम सुख-सुविधाओं के बावजूद हंसना भूल गए हो। सो, थोड़ा
मेरे दिखाए मार्ग पर गौर करो, थोड़ा अपने भीतर झांको कि क्या आप लोग वाकई मेरे दिखाए
मार्ग पर चल रहे हो? बस इस बाबत थोड़ी ईमानदारी बरतो, फिर देखो कि कैसे आपका पूरा जीवन
‘गुड फ्राइडे’ हो जाता है। और यह तय जानो कि जब तक विश्व का हर मनुष्य प्रेम और प्रसन्नता
से नहीं भर जाएगा, मैं गुड फ्राइडे नहीं मनाने वाला। अब यह तय आपको करना है कि मैं
कब गुड-फ्राइडे मनाऊं...।

On Good Friday A Special Request From Christ

You celebrate
the day I was crucified as Good Friday. Now, I don’t know what your logic is behind
doing so, but according to my logic it seems right. Because it was my crucifixion
that proved to be a turning point...thanks to it my message has spread across
the entire world.
Just think, even my excruciatingly painful death was converted into a
Good Friday! But what about you people?
No one is crucifying you and yet why is your life filled with so many Bad
Fridays?! Because you people are only pretending to walk on my path, but in
reality you are not following the path I have shown! And its proof lies in the fact
that I braved my crucifixion with a smile and despite sitting in the lap of
comfort, you people have forgotten how to be happy. So, contemplate for a while
about the Chosen Path, do a little introspection and see whether you are truly
following the path I had shown. Just be a little honest about this and then see
how your whole life becomes a ‘Good Friday’! And know this for sure that until and
unless every human being in the world is filled with love and happiness, I am
not going to celebrate Good Friday! Now it is for you to decide, when I can celebrate
Good Friday...
