बिल गेट्स के जन्मदिवस पर विशेष उनकी फिलोसोफी जो हमें जीवन का सही दर्शन कराती है।
28 अक्टूबर 1955 को बिल गेट्स का जन्म हुआ था।
वे कितने बड़े धनपति हैं या उनकी माइक्रोसॉफ्ट का स्टेटस क्या है; यह किसी को बताने
की जरूरत नहीं। परंतु आज उनके जन्मदिवस पर मैं उनके गुणों की चर्चा करना चाहता हूँ।
क्योंकि मेरा यह दृढ़ विश्वास है तथा सत्य भी यही है कि मनुष्य को महान व सफल उसके गुण
ही बनाते हैं। मनुष्य महान और सफल किसी के आसरे, या किसी के आशीर्वाद से नहीं बन सकता
है। और बिल गेट्स यह बात कम उम्र में ही समझ गए थे। उनका भगवान या भाग्य पर बिल्कुल
विश्वास नहीं था। तथा जमीनी हकीकत भी यही है कि जो सफलता के लिए भगवान या भाग्य के
आसरे नहीं रहता उसे हरहाल में सफलता पाने हेतु स्वयं के आसरे ही आगे बढ़ना होता है।
...यही बिल गेट्स ने किया। लेकिन एकबार अपने बलबुते पर सफलता पा ली और धन के शिखर पर
जा बैठे तो फिर वे लाखों-करोड़ों व्यक्तियों के आसरे जरूर बने। उनकी चैरिटेबल गतिविधियों
से कोई अनजान नहीं है। उन्होंने अपनी अधिकांश पूंजी चैरिटी में दी हुई है।
यहां
उनसे सीखने का यही है कि सफल हमें अपने बल पर होना होता है। उसे हेतु भाग्य या भगवान
का आसरा नहीं खोजना है। ...परंतु एकबार सफल हो गए तो भगवान को नहीं भूलना है। फिर भगवान
की तरह सबसे बराबरी का प्यार करना है और हो सके उतनी सबकी सहायता करनी है। यही धर्म
की सही परिभाषा है। बुद्ध ने भी ज्ञान स्वयं के बल पर ही पाया। फिर उस ज्ञान से दुनिया
को रोशन कर दिया। तभी तो बुद्ध भगवान के अस्तित्व से इन्कार करते थे। क्योंकि यदि भगवान
का नाम आसरा खोजना है, तब तो भगवान नहीं ही है। परंतु हम उलटा करते हैं, सफलता हेतु
भगवान व भाग्य पर निर्भर रहते हैं तथा गलती से कुछ हासिल हो जाए तो किसी का खयाल नहीं
रखते। सबकुछ अपना मान अपने पर ही उड़ाते हैं। ...बस इसीलिए हम बिल गेट्स नहीं हो पा
रहे हैं। हम समझते हैं कि आशीर्वाद और भाग्य तो भगवान के पर फल हमारा। जबकि बिल गेट्स
सिखाते हैं कि मेहनत हमारी और फल पूरे संसार का। यही सच्ची धार्मिकता है। धार्मिकता
ईश्वर में विश्वास करने या न करने से सिद्ध नहीं होती है, बल्कि धार्मिकता ईश्वर-सा
व्यवहार करने से सिद्ध होती है। और इसीलिए बिल-गेट्स भगवान में न मानकर भी धार्मिक
हैं, और करोड़ों-करोड़ों लोग मंदिर-मस्जिद या चर्च जाकर भी अधार्मिक-के-अधार्मिक ही हैं।

Bill Gates was
born on 28 October, 1955. Of course,nobody needs to be told how wealthy he is
and what the status of his Microsoft is. But today on his birthday, I wish to
discuss a few of his qualities. Because it is my firm belief and it is also the
truth that only a human being’squalities make him greatand successful. A human
being cannot achieve greatness and success by relying on others or simply with
the blessings of someone. And Bill Gates had understood this fact at a very
young age itself. He did not believe in God or Destinyat all. In fact, it is
also a ground reality that he who doesn’t seek the support of God or Destiny,
has to rely on himself alone to achieve success under any circumstances... And
this is exactly what Bill Gates did. But once he achieved the zenith of wealth
and success on his own merit, he certainly became a refuge for millions of
people. No one is unaware of his charitable activities. He has donateda major
part of his wealth for noble causes.
Here, the lesson
to be learnt from him is that we have to become successful on ourown merit.For
that, one shouldn’t seek refugein God or Destiny...But once you become then you
shouldn’t forget God. Then you must love everybody equally like God does and
help others as much as possible. This is the true definition of religiousness.
Even Buddha attained Nirvana on his own merit and then enlightenedthe world
with thatwisdom. That is why Buddha had denied the existence of God. Because,
if God meansseeking refuge, then God doesn’t exist.But we do exactly the
opposite. To achieve success, we rely on God and Destiny and if by chance we
manage to achieve something, then we refuse to care for others. We splurge
everything on ourselves considering it solely ours. That’s exactly why we are
not able to become like Bill Gates. We believe that blessings and destiny is in
God’s hands but the fruits of success are ours. Whereas Bill Gates teaches us
that hard work should be ours and the fruits belong to the whole world. And
this is true religiousness. Religiousness cannot be proven by believing or not
believing in God but by adopting God-likebehaviour.And that is why Bill Gates
is religious despite being an atheist, and billions of people remain atheists
despite regularly visiting temples, mosques and churches.

हम वो सेल्समेन हैं जिन्हें अपना सामान तक बेचते नहीं आता खुश क्या खाक रहेंगे...?
कोई भी दुकान सामान की गुणवत्ता पर कम और उसकी
मार्केटिंग तथा सेल्समैनशिप पर ज्यादा चलती है। हमारा जीवन भी एक दुकान ही है जिसमें
हमारे पास जो सामान उपलब्ध है उसी से हमें अपना दिल बहलाना होता है। परंतु हम कमाल
के सेल्समेन हैं...। जो वस्तु या व्यक्ति हमारे पास है, उसकी हम कदर नहीं करते। लेकिन
जो नहीं है, उसे अनमोल मानकर उसके पीछे भागते रहते हैं। और उसपर मजा यह कि उसे पाते
ही वह हमारी नजरों में दो-कौड़ी की हो जाती है। और अगर गलती से कुछ खो जाए तब तो वह
अति-मूल्यवान हो जाती है। यानी वस्तु हो या न हो, पाएं या खोएं...बस हम रोते ही रहते
हैं। कभी फुर्सत मिले तो सोचना कि यह कैसी सेल्समैनशिप हुई?

We Are Those Type Of Salesmen Who Do Not Even Know How To Sell Their Own Goods How Then Are We Going To Be Happy?
Any store runs less on the quality of the products and
more on its marketing and salesmanship. Our life is also a store, wherein we
have to be content with only those goods that our available to us. But we are
amazing salesmen…! We do not value the person or object that is close to us. Instead,
we keep chasing that which we do not have considering it to be precious. And
the funny thing is that as soon as we get it, it becomes worthless for us. And
by chance if we lose something, it becomes extremely precious. Meaning, whether
the object is there or not, whether we gain or lose it…we always keep weeping.
Think about this at leisure, what kind of a salesmanship is this?

पिकासो के जन्मदिवस पर विशेष पिकासो के पिकासो बनने की दास्तान
25 अक्टूबर 1881 को स्पेन के एक मध्यमवर्गीय
परिवार में पिकासो का जन्म हुआ था। उनके पिता होज्ये एक पेंटर थे। यानी पेंटिंग का
माहौल घर पर जमा ही हुआ था। इधर पिकासो जब बोलना सीखे तो उन्होंने पहला शब्द पिज-पिज
यानी स्पेनिश भाषा में पेन्सिल ही बोला। बस पिता ने इसे अपने लाड़ले पुत्र के कला-प्रेम
के तौर पर लिया और अपने पुत्र को एक अच्छा कलाकार बनने हेतु हर संभव वातावरण प्रदान
करना तय किया। और अपने इसी निर्णय के तहत वे एक दिन अपने तीन वर्षीय पुत्र को सांढ़ों
की कलात्मक ल़़ड़ाई दिखाने ले गए। नन्हें पिकासो को सांढ़ों की इस भिड़ंत में आनंद आ गया।
और आठ वर्ष के होते-होते उन्होंने पेन्सिल रगड़-रगड़कर सांढ़ों की ल़़ड़ाई के उस दृश्य
का चित्र ही बना डाला। चित्र इतना जीवंत था कि पिता प्रभावित हुए बगैर नहीं रह सके।
और दस वर्ष के होते-होते तो पिता ने पिकासो के हाथ में ब्रश व रंग भी पकड़ा दिया।
...फिर पिकासो ने क्या इतिहास रचा, यह किसी से छिपा नहीं है।
लेकिन
उनके महान बनने की नींव उनके पिता ने ही रखी। उनके अपने बच्चे की रुचि पहचानने, उसका
उत्साह बढ़ाने और उसकी कला को निखारने हेतु वातावरण प्रदान करने के निर्णय ने ही नन्हें
पिकासो को महान पिकासो बना दिया। पिकासो के महान बनने की यह दास्तान विश्व के हर पिता
को बहुत कुछ सिखाती है। वे अपना बच्चा पिकासो बने यह आशा तो रखते हैं, परंतु कैसे...यह
सोचने की जहमत नहीं उठाते हैं। उम्मीद है यह दास्तान सुनकर हर पिता अपने बच्चों में
छिपी कला को पहचानेगा और उनकी कला को निखारने हेतु उन्हें योग्य वातावरण भी प्रदान
करेगा। यदि चन्द पिता भी यह सीख जाते हैं तो मेरा यह पोस्ट लिखना सफल हुआ।

A Special On Picasso’s Birth Anniversary The Tale Of Pablo Becoming Picasso
On 25 October,
1881, Pablo Picasso was born into a middle-class family in Spain. His father,
Jose was a painter.So an atmosphere of fine art was already prevalent in the
house. Even when Picasso learned how to talk, the first words he uttered were
“piz-piz”, i.e. Spanish for pencil. This was it! His father considered this as
a sign of his beloved son’s artistic leanings and decided to provide the most
conducive environment for Picasso to become a good artist. And propelled by
this decision, one day he took his three-year-old son to watch Spain’s highly
entertaining cultural sport – the bull-fight. Little Picasso was delighted by
the bulls locking their horns. And by the time he turned 8, Picasso had
exhausted numerous pencils to finally sketch out the visual of the bull-fight.
The portrait was so life-like that his father couldn’t help but be impressed!
And by the time he was 10, his father even placed a painting brush and colours
in Picasso’s hands... and the history that Picasso then painted is not hidden from
the world!
But it was his
father who had laid the foundation of his greatness. Recognising his son’s
interest, encouraging him and the decision to create a conducive environment to
hone his talent was what turned thelittle Pablo into the legendary Picasso. The
story of Picasso’s rise to greatness has a lesson for every father. They do
desire to see their son become a Picasso...but they don’t make the effort to
know how… I hope that on hearing this story, every father will identify the
hidden talent in his child and also provide him with aconducive environment to
hone his talent. If even a few fathers take a cue from this, then my purpose of
writing this blog post will be served.

आज ही के दिन बल्ब का आविष्कार हुआ था तो आइए जानें-बल्ब के आविष्कार की पूरी कहानी
22 अक्टूबर 1879 को महान वैज्ञानिक एडीसन ने
बल्ब खोजा था। ...यानी करीब 135 वर्ष पूर्व। कोई वस्तु स्थायी रूप से रोशन भी हो सकती
है, इस सोच-मात्र के लिए एडीसन को सलाम करने को जी चाहता है। और उससे ज्यादा सलाम उनके
बल्ब बनाने के डिटरमिनेशन को करना चाहता हूँ। उन्हें एकबार बल्ब बनाने का खयाल आया
तो बस अपनी पूरी टीम के साथ लेबोरेटरी में घुस गए। और आप मानेंगे नहीं कि बल्ब रोशन
करने हेतु जिस फिलामेंट की उन्हें तलाश थी वह कार्बन फिलामेंट, उन्हें करीब 6000 से
ज्यादा भिन्न-भिन्न फिलामेंट के असफल होने के बाद ही हाथ लगा। और वह भी करीब सत्ताइस
दिनों तक लगातार दिन-रात लेबोरेटरी में भिड़े रहने के बाद...। इस दरम्यान न उनका उत्साह
चुका, ना ही उनका आत्मविश्वास डगमगाया। और आखिर सत्ताइस दिनों तक करी गई उनकी इस ध्यानपूर्ण
तपश्चर्या ने बल्ब रोशन कर ही दिया।
आज
बिना रोशनी के जीवन की कोई कल्पना नहीं कर सकता है। शायद मनुष्य के लिए रात को भी रोशनी
उपलब्ध हो, उससे बड़ा कोई वरदान नहीं हो सकता है। तो आज मैं पूरे विश्व की ओर से ऐसे
महान एडीसन को सलाम करता हॅूं तथा आपको भी कहता हूँ कि महान लोगों के महान कार्यों
को सलाम करने की आदत डालें। जब मौका मिले उनके प्रति कृतज्ञता से भरें। बुद्ध, क्राइस्ट
व कृष्ण के जन्मदिवस मनाएं, उनके हमारे ऊपर बहुत उपकार हैं, परंतु दूसरे क्षेत्रों
के महान लोगों को भी याद करें। मैं वादा करता हूँ कि इससे बुद्ध, कृष्ण या क्राइस्ट
बुरा नहीं मानेंगे, बल्कि प्रसन्न ही होंगे।
और
सायकोलोजिकली भी ज्यादा-से-ज्यादा महान लोगों के प्रति आप कृतज्ञता से भरने की आदत
डालें, यह आदत एक तो आपके अहंकार को कमजोर करेगी, दूसरा आपको महान बनने की प्रेरणा
देगी तथा तीसरा आप जिसे भी दिल से मानेंगे, उसके गुण भी धीरे-धीरे आपमें अवतरित होना
शुरू हो जाएंगे। ...तो फिर कृतज्ञता के दायरे को सीमित रख के क्यों जीना? इस दायरे
को बुद्ध, कृष्ण व क्राइस्ट तक ही क्यों बांधना? बस इस सूची को बढ़ाते जाओ और अपने को
महान बनाने की नींव मजबूत करते जाओ।

धन की वर्षा चाहते हो तो उपाय पढ़ो
देवी - चलो,
फटाफट खजाना रथ में भरो
जानते
नहीं आज मेरा जन्मदिन है
मुझे
पृथ्वी पर जाकर योग्य लोगों पर धनवर्षा करनी है
सेवक - देवी, इतना ढेर-सा खजाना ले जाने का कोई फायदा
नहीं
आपको
कोई बड़ी तादाद में योग्य व्यक्ति मिलने वाले नहीं
देवी - क्या बात करते हो?
आज-कल
तो घर-घर में मेरी पूजा होती है
बेचारा
मनुष्य सालभर मेहनत भी मेरे आगमन की उम्मीद में ही करता है
मैं
अपने भक्तों को निराश नहीं कर सकती
सेवक - कौन कह रहा है कि आप अपने भक्तों को निराश करें
परंतु
आप अपना नियम भी तो नहीं तोड़ सकतीं
देवी - बात मत बनाओ और चलो फटाफट धरती पर
(...उधर
धरती पर संध्या से देर रात तक घूमने के बाद भी देवी बमुश्किल दो-चार लोगों पर ही धन-वर्षा
कर पाईं। देवी इससे काफी उदास हो जाती हैं)
- उसी उदासी भरे स्वर में देवी ने सेवक से पूछा- यह
कैसे हो गया?
सबको
मालूम है कि मैं उल्लू पर ही बैठती हूँ
...सरल
व सीधों पर ही बरसती हूँ
फिर
आज धनतेरस के दिन भी ऐसे लोग ज्यादा दिखे क्यों नहीं?
इस पर सेवक बोला- मैंने पहले ही कहा था न कि
अब
जमाना बदल गया है
धरती
पर आपके भक्त ज्यादा बचे नहीं हैं
आपकी
कामना तो बहुत करते हैं
परंतु
सीधी राह पे चलकर आपके लाड़ले बनने से घबराते हैं
अब
तो वे चोरी, दगाबाजी, बदमाशी के सहारे ही
आपको
पाने की कोशिश करते हैं
आजकल
आपकी बात ‘‘कि आप उल्लू पर बैठती हैं’’
पे
कोेई भरोसा नहीं करता है
उसके
बजाए सबने आपकी पूजा करने का शॉर्ट-कट ढूंढ़ लिया है
बाकी
तो दिन-रात स्मार्टनेस ही दिखाते रहते हैं
यह सुन देवी क्रोधित हो बोली-
बस...तो
फिर मुझे पाने हेतु करने दो स्ट्रगल उन्हें
मुझे
किसी को कुछ नहीं देना
मुझे
तो उल्लू पर बैठना ही पसंद है
और
उल्लू पर ही बैठूंगी
बस
जब और जितने बिना स्मार्टनेस दिखाए
और
बगैर बदमाशी किए सीधी राह पर चलते दिखेंगे
मैं
उतनों पर ही दिल खोलकर धन वर्षा करूंगी
लेकिन
बदमाशी या स्मार्टनेस से मुझे
पाने
की कोशिश करने वालों को तो मैं जीवनभर तड़पाऊंगी।

Do You Want Wealth To Be Showered Upon You, Then Here’s What You Need To!
Goddess – Come
hither, and quickly load the treasure onto my chariot! Don’t you know it is my
birthday today? I need to go earth and shower this wealth on the deserving /
suitable people
Helper – Oh Goddess,
it is futile to carry along so much of the treasure. You are not going to come
across a large number of deserving people!
Goddess – What are
you saying? These days I am worshiped in almost every household! Poor human
beings, they work so hard around the year, expecting my arrival! I can’t afford
to disappoint my worshippers!
Helper – Who is
asking you to disappoint your worshippers? But you can’t break your own law!
Goddess – Don’t
make excuses! Come, let’s quickly go to earth
(...on earth, even
after roaming from evening to late in the night, the Goddess could shower
wealth on barely a few people. She becomes quite dejected.)
In the same sad
tone she asked the helper – How did this happen? Everybody knows that I ride
the ‘ULLU’ (An owl is called 'Ullu' in Hindi which also means a fool)...and
bless only simple and straightforward people. Then today, even on the occasion
of dhanteras, how come I didn’t find
many such people?
To this the helper
replied – Well, didn’t I tell you earlier that, now times have changed. Not too
many of your devotees are left on earth. A lot of people desire you, but they
are scared of taking the right path to become your favourites! Now they resort
to robbery, cheating, and notorious activities to try and gain you. These days
no one believes that you “sit on an Ullu”. Instead, everyone has found a short
cut to worship you. Otherwise, day and night they only flaunt their
smartness!
Angered by hearing
this, the Goddess said – That’s it... let them struggle to get me! I don’t want
to bless anyone with anything. I like only riding my Ullu and will continue to
do so! So, now onwards, I will not open heartedly shower abundant wealth. Only as
and when I find people who are simple, straightforward and don’t show their
over-smartness, no matter how few they are! But those who try to obtain me by
devious means or manipulations, I will make them pine for wealth all their life.
