Adarsh scam files missing
Coalgate Files missing
Whereas in the case of the Income Tax, if we cannot produce even a six-year-old document
We are harassed and persecuted
We are forced to preserve even twenty-year-old documents!
Will the rule ‘no documents, no prosecution’ ever be applicable for us too?
Will the argument be accepted that if files can go missing from government offices, then they can always go missing from our offices and homes too ?
No ?…
Then, how can we be considered free?
