Quiet people have the LOUDEST MIND

Mind matters the most – that is one of the many things that the renowned physicist Stephen Hawking has invariably proved. From exploring the possibilities in outer space to becoming a world famous personality, Hawking showed the world that one doesn’t need a functional body to achieve success in life. Being diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), consequently getting paralysed by it at the young age of 21 and being told that you have little time to live is definitely not motivating! Call it love, willpower or sheer fate, Hawking defied the prediction of several doctors by surviving till the ripe old age of 71. Not only did Hawking survive, but he went on to live a very fruitful life by contributing tremendously to the Science of Cosmology and Quantum Mechanics. Today, he celebrates his 72nd birthday with his daughter, sons and grandson at his mansion in the United Kingdom.

What’s commendable is that even at this mature an age, the physically-challenged physicist keeps himself up-to-date with contemporary science and technology. He also shares his understanding of the universe by writing books and creating applications that enable adults and children alike to comprehend fundamental physics and test their imagination prowess.
Hats off to the man in the ‘will’chair; hats off to Stephen Hawking!
Here’s wishing you a very joyous birthday…
